Let’s be honest, for over 50 years I had read, practiced, attended numerous seminars, and implemented (or worked at implementing) my own self-improvement in health, wealth, and inner happiness, satisfaction and peace.

For example, you may have become so used to being unhappy that your emotions and subconscious keep you that way.  You are unhappy and want to change, but when you do get into a better situation, somehow circumstances mysteriously appear and you revert back, seemly from events out of your control.

 

This is simply an emotionally comfortable habit you have.  This is why people put up with unpleasant situations for endless years, always complaining how unhappy they are about those “circumstances”.

 

  1. It is safer for your subconscious mind to block changes.  All the consequences of changing are uncertain.  What if they are unpleasant, have some side effects you never anticipated, and aspects of the change hurt you?  Your subconscious mind perceives change as too dangerous, too risky to take a chance on.

 

So your subconscious mind keeps you from changing.  And you never even suspect it!  You just think life is a struggle and difficult.  You think you are just not lucky!

 

  1. It is safer for your subconscious to protect you from your fears!  This is the big one!  We are talking about your frivolous fears, those fears that you formed for irrational reasons unknown to you – that will not actually harm you.  We are not talking about real fears that in fact would harm you.  We likely have lots of false fears formed when we were children and did not realize that some things were really nothing to fear.

 

Your subconscious mind is directing and arranging your decisions and the people and events you attract to keep you away from your false fears.  Imagine your entire life being arranged to avoid experiencing a particular fear, a false fear that in fact would not hurt you at all.

 

Your thoughts are both creative and magnetic.

 

Not only do you become what you think about, you actually get what you think about.  So be sure to constantly notice what you are thinking about during the day as that is what you will be attracting.  Through the instructions in the Success Seekers Manifesto you will be attracting subconsciously and consciously your desired goals and successes.

All of these create the yo-yo up and down effect, which cause you to gain weight and eventually become discouraged and give up.

 

The answer begins with balancing the 3 macro nutrients in the correct ratios or proportions,  - Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fat.  The correct balance makes the difference between being in a “fat storage mode” or a “fat burning mode”.

 

Proteins are important because it contributes to keeping your immune system strong and healthy, builds lean tissue, organs, and enzymes

 

Carbohydrates contribute to your energy needs as well as provide many necessary nutrients.

 

Fats provide hormonal balance and keep our cells working right. 

 

You must know when to eat, exactly what and what not to eat as well as how much to eat, or you can never control your weight and maximize your health consistently.

 

The what to eat, particularly when trying to choose from among the huge variety of confusing carbohydrates can be daunting.  If you do everything else perfectly every time, you will still make no progress if you choose the wrong carbohydrates.

 

There is a fabulous assortment of many many excellent carbohydrates, but you have to know which ones!  Without a list of good (low glycemic) and the “bad” (high glycemic) you are doomed to failure.
